I come from Denmark and I have seen this Darkwing Duck comics in London this Summer and holded them with my hands. Why I didn't buy them I don't know. So I want to show my gratitude to you for making my summer so perfect with your art. I will buy this comic and give some of them as a gift to you if you like. Actually I was too young for most of the 80s to remember much from this time (apart from the great cartoons that is... xD). And the clothes. I will never forget the fashion of those days. :^D |

| Message: | Hi Sandra I was happy to see your comments on my blog. I had visited your site several times while I was looking for reference. You probably have more DW art around the web than anybody. I really like your stuff, it has a lot of life to it. Keep up the good work. I wish I could get an issue to everyone in Europe. I don't know if you read the comment I made on my blog but Boom Studios can only distribute in the US and the European fans need to get in touch with Gemstone to get it published there. In any event I'm going to Comic Con this year and will hopefully be able to grab extra copies there. I'm not promising anything but if I can get extras, you'll be at the top of the list. Plus the writer and I will be signing copies along with series creator Tad Stones. Anyway, I see you are a true fan so I'm anxious for you to get a copy to read. I hope we did it justice. | Message: | HI, I know that you are busy...but I wanted to drop you a line and thank you for sharing your talent and showing people the classic style of Disney art as well as helping me feel as though I am not alone in my love of Darkwing and Co. Unfortunately I can't draw but I DO write and I wanted to let you know that I am dedicating a story I am developing with my friend Wende from Bend OR. USA that is a parody of the Spy Movie Genre to you and your drawing of the original concept art of Darkwing Duck. I hope that you don't mind that we took inspiration from the expression and personality you put into it (she has a trading pin of the idea but it's very sylized and it is actually the expression on DW's face that you drew that really sparked my plot Bunnies) So anyways I hope that you are doing well and that eventually you will have time to do another drawing for me someday but until then I will enjoy everything you post anyways , your friend , pen pal and fan lauri |

I'm truly surprised to find you and Wende so impressed by this little picture - originally I only wanted to satisfy my curiosity as to DW's intended design, but never thought that anybody would be so very fond of the artwork. I'm looking forward to reading your story and feel quite honoured that you took inspiration from my picture. About your personal artwork - I hope that I will soon find the time to do it, just decide exactly what you want to see, for this'll accelerate my process of finding the right look for the picture. | Message: | Hello again Sandra, I came to your gallery to look for a picture you did about a yr ago. It was of an earlyer version of Darkwing Duck, inspiered by the pin of Double O Duck. I was happy to find it was still avalible to look at, because I wanted to look it over again. It tickled me the first time I saw it and I was telling a friend of mine, who's as crazy about DW as we are, about it and showed her the pin in an e-mail. She, like me, writes fan fiction storys, but her's are mostly about DW and company. You did that beautiful picture for her with DW proposing to Morgana. Anyway we got to talking about a new DWD story and because of your drawing, (which I discribed to her)decided it would be about, "what if" in another universe Drake had become Double-O Duck and was accidently sent to DW's universe and DW to Double-O's universe, encountering doubles of the characters from his own, but different so as to not confuse the readers as to where they were, anyway I would like to ask you a couple of favors. #1,If we could mention your drawing in the credits, as the inspiration for the story and #2 if I could have a copy of your Dark as Double-O Picture, to put into my personal picture folder as a keepsake. If favor #2 is not doable, I'll understand, but I would still love to give you well deserved credit for the insperation that helped us think of the story and when It is up and running I'll let you know if you'd be interested in reading it. Thankyou for all the wonderful pictures I've enjoyed over the time, I've been visiting your Gallery and as always I look forward to your next Illustrations and pictures in your next update.
