To be true, I'm not one of the first "Harry Potter" fans. I became a potterholic after I started to read the books in English in 1999. Well, I think they're much better in English than in German (originals are always better *g*). And now to the obligatory question "What is it that makes 'Harry Potter' worth reading for you?". That's fairly easy. Every book that describes boys, who are fond of using brooms and cauldrons (though not in the "traditional" way), has got to be a brilliant masterpiece. Clear as daylight, isn't it? *laughs*
