Finally I had the guts to draw Lupin as a teacher at Hogwarts. Lupin's appearance in the "Prisoner of Azkaban" film somehow shocked me (altough I'd like to register that I liked David Thewlis' performance *very* much and the scars over his face were a nice idea), since I imagined him to be... younger and... well, just look at the picture above. :-) After re-reading the third book, I went deep inside my memory to find the first idea I had of Lupin's appearance, sat down and drew this picture. It's exactly the way I saw him when I read the book for the first time. The man, who arms his students with spells to fight their deepest fears and hands them chocolate to recover... oh, yes: Remus Lupin is surely my second favourite character right after Sirius Black. ^.^
