Lupin... then and now

This is the first picture of a series of Lupin-sketches I did, because... well, I think because I was on the one hand happy that he had such a wonderful introduction at the beginning of "Order of the Phoenix" and I felt on the other hand terribly disappointed that he only attracts attention through his constant absence during the further course of the story. I'm asking you now: where was he? We know that one half of his time he was occupied with terribly important duties for the Order (yeah, right... but what? *g*) and the other half he was hanging around at No 12 Grimmauld Place. Was he playing wizard chess with Sirius? Did they look at old pictures and drink tea? Did Lupin get an indigestion from a goblet of Wolfsbane Potion Snape made him? Was he shopping at Diagon Alley (no wait... he hasn't any money... cancel this thought, will you? *s*) or... was he feeding the giant squid?!? ^_~ The only thing that strikes me is that his absence is so very needless. Sirius wasn't allowed to leave his house, but Remus was. Arrgh. Whatever. *shrugs* I should stop racking my brains. ;o)
