Here's what I've been thinking all along: if Crookshanks only had eaten Scabbers right at the beginning of "Prisoner of Azkaban", Sirius would never have died. On the other hand... he would still sing the blues in prison, because the only proof of his innocence is dead. Ah, whatever. >.< The idea wasn't that bad.
